Your email — it is your login. Your password, only as a hash, never as text. Your name, phone and club, if you fill them in; all three are optional. And the tournaments you create, with the entries and results inside them.

When an organizer publishes a tournament, the entry list and results become visible to anyone, the way competition protocols always have been: name, club or nation, place.

What goes in there is entered by the organizer, not by us. If you want something changed or removed, ask them first — they have the tools. If that goes nowhere, write to us and we will sort it out.

One, fe_uid, which keeps you signed in. No ads, no analytics, nothing following you around — which is why there is no cookie banner asking you to agree to anything.

Resend sends our email, so it sees the address and the contents of the letter. Cloudflare handles the domain and the bot check on sign-up. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we have nothing to sell it for.

In your profile you can change what you entered, download everything we hold about you as a single file, and delete your account. Deleting it removes the tournaments you own, with their results — so if other people rely on them, hand them over first.

Anything you cannot do yourself — write to support@fencingengine.com. That includes a parent asking us to take a child’s name out of published results: just say which tournament, and it is done.

Passwords are hashed, sign-in cookies are signed and expire, changing a password kicks out every other device, and the number of sign-in attempts is limited.

Nothing is perfectly safe, though. If data ever leaks in a way that could hurt someone, we will tell you rather than stay quiet about it.
